How to Remove Grease from Concrete Garage Floor

Cleaning a concrete garage floor from grease is a hassle, but it can be done with the right cleaning solutions and a little elbow grease. Here are the steps to remove grease from a concrete garage floor:

Materials:

1. TSP (trisodium phosphate) 2. Hot water 3. Stiff-bristled brush 4. Degreaser 5. Muriatic acid (optional) 6. Baking soda (optional)

Step 1: Prepare the floor.

Sweep or vacuum the floor to remove any loose dirt or debris. Wear gloves and safety glasses for protection.

Step 2: Apply TSP solution.

Mix 1/2 cup of TSP in a gallon of hot water. Apply the solution to the greasy area and let it sit for 15-20 minutes. This will help break down the grease.
